Hi, I'm Katie Dooley, the maker behind KTD Ceramics.

I create wheel-thrown pottery meant to be used and enjoyed. Each piece is thrown, trimmed, carved, and glazed by hand, which means no two are exactly alike. I pay attention to the details that matter when a piece is in your hands, from the purposeful dents in an oil bottle that make it easy to hold, to the shape and position of a mug’s handle.

Whether it’s a particular mug that you reach for in the mornings, a serving bowl that’s always on your table, or a vase filled with fresh flowers, my hope is that my pots become part of your everyday life. One of my favorite things as a potter is hearing that a piece I’ve made has become someone’s favorite.
