My name is Katie, and I am a potter based out of Bloomington, IN. I have always been a consumer of handmade ceramics and love the unique craftsmanship that goes into every piece. Having almost no experience with clay and little artistic talent outside of coloring, I messaged a friend one random day and said “Hey - let’s sign up for an 8-week pottery class!” The rest, as they say, is history. I was instantly hooked to the creative process of working with clay. I found a calmness and connection with wheel throwing unlike anything I’ve experienced before and love to share that passion with others.
